HOW DO I GET TO LE DOMAINE?
The nearest airport to Tam Hai is Chu Lai International Airport (VCL). Flight prices are generally cheaper to Chu Lai than Da Nang and you can book flights directly via Jetstar, Viet Jet and Vietnam Airlines, all of whom service several daily flights between both Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City. A taxi from airport to Tam Quang harbour takes approximately 20 minutes and costs just 120,000VND.
From Da Nang International Airport (DAD) it is a two-hour car transfer to the island, and from Hoi An the scenic journey takes just less than an hour.
SPEEDBOAT SCHEDULE
Our speedboat runs from 09:00 until 18:00 daily. Private pick-up points vary depending on your arrival route:- From Chu Lai we’ll pick you up at Tam Quang harbour, from Tam Ky (our nearest train station) – Tam Hoa Harbour, or from Hoi An or Da Nang the most direct route is to Ben Pha Tam Hai.
Due to the number of pick-up points offered we ask all guests to confirm their arrival itinerary with us prior to departure so that we can ensure our speedboat is waiting at the correct dock to collect you.
Arrivals and departures outside of these times can be arranged with advance notice.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
Due to the intimate size and nature of the resort, the maximum set occupancy per villa is two adults and two small children. Parents must be aware that our villas are designed to accommodate one king sized bed and a large seating area to relax. Children are however very welcome and all children under six years of age can enjoy a complimentary stay and daily breakfast when sharing the existing bed.
– We can add one additional bed per villa for $20 USD per night. This extra charge includes breakfast.
– We have our Family Villa, this villa has a slightly altered layout and includes a sofa bed and lounge area that allows more room for families with children.
– Our villas are all around 30m apart and not connected – so please bear this in mind if you have younger children.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I GET IN EACH VILLA?
The standard occupancy is 2 adults, however the maximum occupancy per room is 3, we can add an additional bed. There is an additional charge of $20USD per night for the third occupant.
DO YOU HAVE WIFI?
While internet access is available throughout the resort, we would love you to connect with real people throughout your stay. Enjoy what Tam Hai has to offer without the distraction of the outside world.
HOW DO I PAY OR THINGS ON THE ISLAND?
Please be aware that there are no ATMS or banks on the island and that all cash transactions outside the resort must be made in Vietnam Dong. At the resort, all major credit cards are accepted.
CAN I GET MARRIED AT LE DOMAINE?
It is possible to book Le Domaine partially or completely for special occasions such as a wedding or other function. Just send us an email and we will put together a special package for you according to your requirements.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT?
Tam Hai has a hot tropical climate, with average daily temperatures ranging from 26 to 29°C, and two distinct seasons: the dry southwest monsoon from March to October and the wet northeast monsoon from November to February. Days are generally sunny, and when it rains the showers are sudden and heavy but short lived with plenty of blue skies in between. Humidity ranges from around 65% to 96%.
IS THERE A MINIMUM STAY?
Officially no – guests are very welcome to stay for just one night if that is what fits with their schedule, but you may find this is too short once you get here. We offer 3 nights for the price of 2!
IS THERE A DOCTOR ON THE ISLAND?
Yes, there is. There is also a small local hospital equipped to deal with any minor issues. For anything else, Quang Nam General Hospital is just 25 minutes away by boat and car.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
CANCELLATIONS AND NO SHOWS
a. Cancellations will be accepted with no charge up to 21 days before arrival
b. Cancellations within 21 – 11 days before arrival will be charge 50% of total stay due.
c. Cancellation 10 – 0 days before arrival will be charged 100%
d. Cancellations must be confirmed in writing prior to the minimum notice dates.
e. No refund applicable for no-show, days not used due to early check out or delayed arrivals.
CAN YOU CATER TO SPECIFIC DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Yes – Our dining is very much a bespoke experience. At check-in, we will talk to you about your requirements and create a tailored menu accordingly. We can work with menus for vegans, vegetarians, Halal, lactose intolerant and allergies. Please inform us when making your reservation.
